iPhone maker Foxconn to build electric SUVs with Byton



BEIJING — Income-strapped Chinese startup Byton, Apple assembler Foxconn and the Nanjing Economic and Technological Enhancement Zone have agreed to begin developing electrical sport-utility motor vehicles in 2022, in accordance to a assertion on Monday.

Younger Liu, chairman of Foxconn stated in the assertion that the partnership with Byton will be a key aspect in Foxconn’s technique in electric motor vehicle (EV) industry.
